What's new in TaxNoop

October 26, 2026

TaxNoop in Germany (beta)

  • Personal Tax now covers Germany: income tax on the 2026 tariff (§ 32a EStG), with joint assessment for married couples, the solidarity surcharge, and optional church tax at 8% or 9%.
  • The employee and special-expenses lump sums are applied automatically, and every result says plainly what it leaves out, such as social security contributions.
  • A step-by-step ELSTER checklist with the 31 July deadline and quarterly prepayment dates, and a net worth check in euros.
  • The site is now available in German, and visitors in Germany see it automatically. English stays one click away.
  • TaxNoop is free in Germany while it is in beta, with no card needed.
  • The German site's menu and footer links are now in German: "Änderungsprotokoll", "Datenschutz" and "AGB".
  • The privacy policy and terms are now available in German, with the parts specific to Germany filled in: the GDPR rights, German law, the free beta and German record-keeping periods. Previously those sections were empty on the German site.
  • If you saved a different language earlier, the site now offers your region's page in a small bar instead of keeping it from you. Your saved choice stays in charge, and closing the bar or picking any language means it won't ask again.
  • The language menu now lists your current language first, with the rest grouped by region.
  • Visitors from countries TaxNoop doesn't cover yet now land on the general English page rather than the Pakistan page.
  • The status page now tests the AI CFO with a real request, so it reports an outage when the AI CFO can't answer, instead of showing it as working.

Wealth statement and net worth check

  • Personal Tax now checks your wealth statement before you file. Enter what you owned and owed at the start and end of the year, plus what came in and went out, and it shows the unreconciled amount as you type.
  • Pakistan: this is the Section 116 wealth statement, which FBR requires to reconcile to exactly zero. It is the mismatch that blocks most individual returns, and an unexplained increase can be taxed as income under Section 111.
  • United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia and China: the same arithmetic as a net worth check, in your own currency and with your own tax year ends. Nothing like it is filed with these returns, but it is one of the methods the IRS and HMRC use to look into personal income.
  • When the figures do not reconcile, it explains which way the gap points and what usually causes it, and warns about blank living expenses, a missing prior year, and liabilities larger than assets.
  • Loans are handled correctly: borrowed money already sits under liabilities, so counting it as income too shows up as a mismatch.
  • One click carries your income and tax over from the estimator above it.
  • Your figures save automatically as you type, and are there when you come back. They are visible only to the account owner, never to team members.
  • Starting a new year carries last year's closing balances into the opening column, which in Pakistan must match last year's statement exactly.
  • Fixed weekly AI CFO briefings, which most accounts had stopped receiving since late September.
  • The status page now checks that the AI CFO engine actually responds, rather than only that it is configured.
  • The landing page has a new section on the wealth statement and net worth check, in every language and currency.
  • The top of the landing page now shows TaxNoop at work: a dashboard that assembles itself, from cash flow and bank feed to a wealth statement that balances. It plays once, and shows the finished view straight away if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Fixed the pricing comparison table, which showed a stray comma instead of a clear mark for features a plan does not include. Tax year dates and tax bands now read "1 Jul 2026 to 30 Jun 2027" rather than running together.

One price, everywhere

  • The price you see on the landing page is now the price shown in the app, at checkout, and on bank transfer instructions, in every market.
  • Pakistan prices now follow the live US dollar rate, rounded up to the nearest PKR 100, so they stay fair when the rupee moves.
  • Plans are priced by your business’s country rather than the language you browse in. Business plans show custom pricing throughout.
  • A bank transfer is approved at the amount you were quoted, even if the rate changes before it clears.

A clearer picture of what TaxNoop saves you

  • The landing page now shows estimated savings: accountant fees, bookkeeping hours, and late-filing penalties avoided, worked out for each market.
  • New "How teams use TaxNoop" section, showing how founders, finance leads and freelance bookkeepers use the platform day to day.
  • New Customers & Partners section on the landing page and the partners page.
  • UK prices now display in pounds rather than euros.

  • Fixed a fault that stopped scheduled tax deadline reminders and weekly AI CFO briefings from being sent.

A signup built for individuals too

  • The Google button now reads "Sign up with Google" when you are creating an account, rather than "Sign in".

  • Routine security maintenance on the credentials behind scheduled jobs.
  • Expanded automated test coverage across signup, account setup, and the public site.

September 8, 2026

Personal tax accounts

  • You can now set up a personal tax account for salaried or freelance income, with a personal return flow kept separate from company books.
